Lewis Warren Jr. is a vibrant musical artist. His special ability to connect with people through music was evident at an early age. His gift has opened many opportunities for him to perform on national television, including NBC’s hit show America’s Got Talent and NASCAR’s Samsung 500 where, by invitation of the Texas Motor Speedway president, he performed the National Anthem in front of over 200,000 live spectators.
In March 2012, Lewis was a featured performer at the Van Cliburn Foundation’s 50th Anniversary Gala Celebration (and was an artist with their Musical Awakenings Program in the years 2010 and 2011). In June 2013, he performed Chopin’s 2nd Piano Concerto with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra conducted by Maestro Jaap Van Zweden.
Most recently, Lewis was a Finalist in the New England Conservatory’s Honors Piano Competition in April 2016. Also, Lewis performed for the Cliburn’s advertising of the 7th Amateur International Cliburn Competition at DFW Airport in June 2016. In August 2016 he held a concert for the Wichita Falls Community Foundation, and the Wichita Falls Alliance for Arts and Culture. This past March he performed Grieg’s Piano Concerto with the NY Sessions Symphony under Ben Niemczyk.
